🥤 Lumen‑Plus Mint Lemonade (Mint Lemon + Citrus Drink)
Ingredients (makes ~4 servings)
1 ½ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 8–10 lemons)
3 cups water (plus more to dilute to your taste)
1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves (about 20 stems)
1 cup sugar (adjust sweetness to taste)
Ice cubes
Optional: 1 cup sparkling water for a fizzy twist
Instructions
1. Blend the Base:
In a blender, combine lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, and ~½ cup water. Blend until the mint is finely pureed.
2. Strain (optional):
Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher to remove larger mint pieces (or leave them in for texture).
3. Dilute & Chill:
Add the remaining water and plenty of ice to the pitcher, stirring to combine.
4. Serve:
Pour into glasses over ice. For a fizzy version, top with sparkling water just before serving.
5. Garnish:
Add extra mint sprigs or lemon slices to the glass.
🔄 Tips & Variations
Mint forward: For a stronger mint flavor, bruise the mint leaves with a wooden spoon before blending.
Lime swap: Use lime juice instead of lemon for a sharper citrus punch.
Frozen: Blend in ice for a refreshing slush-style “limonana.”
Sweetness: Honey or agave can be substituted for sugar for a different flavor profile.
